Abovas is a volunteer organization which offers accompaniment and transport services in the West Island community for residents needing recurrent medical treatment. This service is dependant on the availability of our volunteers.
Volunteers and clients come together for ABO-VAS luncheon! On December 16th 2009 ABO-VAS celebrated its 2nd anniversary with participants from all over the West Island. Many of those clients participated in our pilot project. 59 Volunteers have helped over 300 residents. Our organization has volunteered over 5000 hours and drivers were assigned on 2485 trips!
